Much Ado About Nothing (production dates March 6th-8th & 13th-15th)
Cast Needed: 13 people - 6 Women, 7 Men
One of Shakespeare's most human comedies, Much Ado is a play that explores gender issues and relationships in traditional society. As many of these roles have evolved over time, we will confront the similarities and differences while inviting the audience to share in the revelry that is love and war in a modern day Sicily. Beatrice and Benedict, two of the most well-known, intelligent, and iconic characters ever written, are the 'spar' crossed lovers who challenge romantic convention, and they are supported by an equally colorful and engaging ensemble that helps bring this play to life.
Trojan Women (production dates May 2009)
Cast Needed: Check back soon!
We are casting for both shows at this time so many roles are available for all ages, men and women!
The workshop and auditions will be held at The Village Theatre (formerly Turner Hall) in the Village of East Davenport, 2113 E. 11th Street Davenport, Iowa.
