Trojan Women by Euripides

The great city of Troy has fallen, her men slaughtered by the crafty Greeks. Thrown into a make-shift prison, along with their surviving children, the women who lived through the massacre mourn their loss and dread their future as slaves, concubines, and forced brides to the conquering Greek soldiers.

Immediately after the Friday, May 22nd production, a post-show discussion focusing on the specific topics relevant both to the play being produced and to the audience viewing it. The discussions feature the director and cast of the production fielding questions and comments from audience members.

Trojan Women will be presented at The Village Theatre (formerly Turner Hall) in the Village of East Davenport, 2113 E. 11th Street Davenport, Iowa. Doors open at 7:30 PM., curtain at 8:00 PM.—except on May 24th , when doors open at 1:30PM, with curtain at 2:00PM. Tickets available at door only. Tickets $8 for all.
