2010 Twelfth Night Gala!! Saturday, January 9th!

Join Prenzie Players on Saturday, January 9th, 2010 from 730-1030pm for an evening of food, music, and live theater as we celebrate last year's accomplishments and look forward to the coming year's opportunities!

Our program will include a performance of Cyclops by Euripides -- the only known recorded Ancient Greek Satyr play, at which you'll laugh as much as you cried at Euripides' Trojan Women this previous Spring. We'll also treat you to a dramatic staging of Alfred Lord Tennyson's poem Ulysses.

Music will be provided by a number of artists, including a set by the talented Rockridge High School Jazz Band.

As usual, there will be a silent auction full of all sorts of goodies to entice you -- with a special emphasis on visual art by local artists.

We'll tempt you with our vast spread of sumptuous hors d'oeuvres for both sweet and savory palates.

Directions to the venue are below -- please use them, as the building is located behind the Annie Wittenmyer cottages and online maps will lead you to the Wittenmyer complex but not the exact building.

Directions:
Heading East on Davenport's Locust Street, turn left (north)on Eastern Avenue heading toward Kimberly Road.
Stay on Eastern until you start to come upon the Wittenmyer Complex.
Take a left at Wittenmyer Road.
Take that little road all the way around the back of the complex.
When you reach the first stop sign, the building is the first building on your left after the stop sign. Renaissance Restoration is on the main floor.
There is some parking in the front, but there's more parking in the back.
Come in the front doors and take the door on your right. Go up the stairs -- the party will be on the second floor.
