Prenzie Players present The Taming of the Shrew, by William Shakespeare.

All the men want Bianca, for her modesty, for her charm, for her beauty, but no one can marry her until her older sister--tempestuous, sharp-tongued Katherine--is married first. It's up to the impetuous, eccentric Petruchio to win the most feared woman of Padua in Shakespeare's classic battle of the sexes.

Immediately after the Friday, March 7th production, a post-show discussion focusing on the specific topics relevant both to the play being produced and to the audience viewing it. The discussions feature the director and cast of the production fielding questions and comments from audience members.

The Taming of the Shrew will be presented downstairs at The Masonic Temple, 420 18th St., Rock Island, IL. Doors open at 7:30 PM., curtain at 8:00 PM.
